Steve Baron

Steve Baron and his team have spent over 35 years in various aspects of real estate development and construction management. In 1984, Steve started Baron Construction and Development, a full-service general contracting firm in Marin County, California. 
Baron Construction and Development completed over $200 million of projects from SFD remodels, multifamily renovations, concrete construction, tenant improvements, and construction management. In 1991, Steve started the Baron Company, a partner with one of the Bay Area’s pre-eminent General Engineering contractors, providing the Bay Area with General Engineering Construction for over twelve years. 
In 2002, Steve relocated to Bend, Oregon, and reestablished the Baron Company; the Baron Company worked as a consultant for companies in the Bay Area and the Pacific Northwest. They specialize in construction defects and development projects. 
In 2006, the Baron Company was contracted by a Pacific Northwest development group as construction management for numerous commercial development projects valued at over 120 million dollars. In addition, he was contracted by some of the largest western states Native American tribes as a construction management consultant. 
In 2008, Steve joined a private equity firm as Vice President and Director of Asset Management. Steve split his time between Bend, Oregon, and Marin County, California. In 2012, Steve Started Baron Consulting Group, LLC, which specializes in development projects in CA, AZ, and HI; 
Steve is a founder/partner in StackRack Battery Systems; StackRack is one of the few U.S. companies offering turn-key battery systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects.

R. Brooks Brydges

Brooks is the Founding Partner of Cardiff Capital Collab and Cardiff Capital Partners.  CCP has been pursuing large scale actions sports hospitality developments in the wave park niche for the past ten years as a developer, advisor, and consultant.  The Collab was formed based on his experience to bring the right resources to the table to make the development process more cohesive and improve the probability of success. 
Brooks is an economist and licensed securities and real estate professional with three decades of experience in both. His passion has been sports including tennis, basketball as well as the core action sports as a Gen X growing up in Southern California (South Mission) and attending San Diego State University, surfing, skating, and snowboarding.  He now has a family that enjoys the same and therefor wants to support the development of next generation action sports resorts for all to enjoy based primarily on the advances of wave park technology. 
Brooks has his CA State Securities Series 66, 65, 63…General Industry Series 31, 7 and 52 licenses and National & California Association of REALTORS license # 01196350.  

Jay Egg

Jay’s 35 years in the geothermal industry have brought him the labels of Visionary and Game-changer in the adoption and deployment of thermal energy exchange. As a global geothermal expert, Jay focuses on feasibility and design for thermal energy networks and supporting activities involving geothermal exchange implementation, aquifer related feasibility and special permitting such as utility‐scale. geothermal exchange systems. Jay is a Certified Geothermal Designer, mechanical professional, co-recipient of the 2020 Constellation Prize for Policy Change, and enthusiastic thermal energy advocate who started his career in nuclear power with the U.S. Navy.

Rodney T. Smith

Rodney Smith is Managing Member of Cardiff Capital Collab LLC, President of Stratecon Inc (www.stratwater.com), an economics and strategic planning consulting firm specializing in the economics, finance, and policy of water resources and President of Baja Norte Water Resources, LLC, developer of bi-national water projects. He also serves on the advisory board of Atreides Water applying blockchain technology to water resources management. Dr. Smith is involved as an advisor in the acquisition of water rights throughout the western United States and in the sale and leasing of water rights and water supplies to public and private sector water users.
